Astro*Carto*Graphy® Map Kit

This is the original computer-drawn map of the world with explanatory booklet that revolutionized locational astrology in the early 1970's. Created by Jim Lewis as a tool for the inquiring student of astrology, and implemented on computer by Astro Numeric Service, ACG maps have been produced for hundreds of thousands of people around the world.

The map is a projection of your birth chart onto a map of the world, allowing you to see at a glance where your planets were angular at the moment of your birth. Each map is individually drawn for the exact moment of birth. The booklet allows you to analyze the meaning of each line or combination of lines at any geographical location.

AstroCartoGraphy map kits bring the technique of locational astrology directly to the individual. While there is no substitute for a trained astrologer, these maps do allow anybody to understand the fundamentals of their locational situation and to explore areas of the world themselves.

Although AstroCartoGraphy has spawned many imitations, these kits designed by Jim Lewis retain many superior features:

• Detailed color map of the world (11x17”) shows country borders, major cities, and accurate scale of latitude and longitude.
• All lines are neatly labeled along top and bottom borders, avoiding cluttering up geographic features with hard to read labels.
• Maps are regularly protected in a folding cover, or can be laminated for lifetime protection.
• Separate latitude listing is included in kit to allow you to examine important latitudes on separate atlases or road maps.
• All AstroCartoGraphy maps are drawn with Ascendant and Descendant lines indicating the true rising and setting positions of the planets, unlike many maps which use a synthetic planetary position.

The Astro*Carto*Graphy Book by Jim Lewis that is part of every kit explains why Astro*Carto*Graphy works, and how it is based on the same astrological principles that have been accepted by astrologers all over the world.  The book also gives interpretations of the meaning of each of the 40 lines you may find on the map, plus all combinations of two planets.
